Dog Days of Summer
It's fun to make the short drive to the Jemez. It's beautiful and Jemez Springs is a quaint little village! Los Ojos adds to the journey with good food and friendly service!

Sadly disappointing. Recently visited for dinner. Ordered the house special burger. The plate was a big pile, nothing resembling a burger. It's like they think if they throw a mound of grease and cheese on a plate people will eat it. The burger didn't have a top bun. I did not like it. Also had a lemonade- tasted awful. The water tasted gross and the lemonade tasted like cheap packet lemonade. The place was dusty. Service was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend.

Although service is slow, the staff is usually friendly and the food is good. The first time we went into Jemez Springs, we happened across it, and were very happy with our food. Since it is a small mountain town, every time we plan to travel there, we go to Los Ojos to be sure we will get a decent lunch. We've brought friends and family with us and every time they have said they are happy with their food. A bit spendy? Yes. Afterall, it is remote and up in the mountains.

There is a for hire sign on the restaurant.. Saw it yesterday. The Stagecoach across the street may have some prospects. If you have medical field experience.. The Pueblo is a great place to work.
Yes, we open everyday at 11 am, except on Sunday we open at 10 am for breakfast.
